Press release: Spend a day investigating archaeology with Oneonta World of Learning! Dig Dirt Day is Friday, June 23, 2017 from 10:00 – 2:00 at Hartwick College's Pine Lake Environmental Campus, 1894 Charlotte Creek Road, Oneonta. There will be ongoing activities all day. Participants will learn about human pre-history, fossils, artifacts, and more. Guided tours of the on-going Hartwick archeological dig will be held. Reserve your tour spot at www.oneontaworldoflearning.org. Dress for a mess and for water activities! The swimming area will be closed, but participants can use Pine Lake's boats (bring your children's life jackets) and hiking trails. The cost is $5 per child ($2.50 for OWL members), free for children under 12 months.
